Summary

The Web Development Intern will assist in building, updating, and maintaining StartupLab’s internal platforms, websites, and digital tools. Interns will collaborate with the development team to implement features, fix bugs, enhance UI components, and support testing activities.

This role is ideal for students who want hands-on experience with frontend, backend, or full-stack development. Interns will receive guidance in coding best practices, version control, and real-world web development workflows used in professional environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing frontend interfaces and website components
• Support backend logic, APIs, or database-related tasks
• Fix bugs and perform code improvements based on feedback
• Help integrate new features into existing systems
• Collaborate with designers and system analysts on UI/UX alignment
• Test website functionality and report issues
• Document code changes and project notes
• Participate in sprint meetings and technical discussions

Qualifications

Educational

• Open to IT, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related courses
• Must be enrolled in an OJT / internship program

Experience

• Must have created at least one school or personal website project
• Portfolio or sample code (GitHub, Google Drive, or screenshots)
• Basic experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with frameworks (React, Laravel, Node.js, etc.) is an advantage but not required
